Go Through Hell (Demo)

I’m not entirely sure where this song came from, all I know is it stuck and won’t let me leave it alone. The idea of trying to convince yourself and the person leaving you that the terrible thing you’re going to face isn’t going to be terrible is a theme that pops up in songs from time to time, and one that I’ve always loved. It is a place that is ripe for lyrical word play, and very closely related to sarcasm, which probably explains why I love it.
